THE INSTITUTE FOR COGNITIVE THERAPY – LICENSED BY THE STATE OF UTAH
Information

The Institute for Cognitive Therapy is a private, non-profit agency that was created 18 years ago by Dr. Donna Castleton, LCSW and Randy Linnell, LCSW to help address the growing needs in Utah County for such things as substance abuse, domestic violence, anger management, and victim counseling. The agency has grown and adjusted for the needs of the community to include therapy for individuals, couples, families, the LGBT community, and religious conflicts. Dr. Castleton has recently retired, and Heidi Riddle, LCSW has stepped into her place as Executive Director.

Licensed by the State of Utah, the Institute for Cognitive Therapy works to provide mental health, substance abuse, and domestic violence treatment. The Institute’s clinical staff are licensed, highly trained professionals who share a commitment to providing effective, accessible, and quality treatment services. We serve clients from a variety of cultural and religious backgrounds, as well as provide services in Spanish.

ICT has grants with Utah County and the State of Utah for Domestic Violence treatment for both victims and perpetrators, as well as for substance abuse treatment, for both court-ordered and volunteer clients.
