What is Cognitive Therapy?

Cognitive therapy is one of the few forms of psychotherapy that has been scientifically tested and found to be effective in hundreds of clinical trials for many different disorders. This type of therapy is more focused on the present, and in particular, focused on problem solving. Much of what our clients work on is solving current problems. In addition, they learn specific skills that they can use for the rest of their lives.
